Exercise 2 - Information Graphic

My Bachelor degree is in Technical Communications, focusing on Web Design. I am transferring in 64 credits from my two Associate's degrees, so it's a little confusing trying to figure out what classes go towards each section. I broke the graph into three sections: presently taking, completed, and required hours.

I used Microsoft Excel to create the graph, used Snag It to capture the screen shot of the graph, and saved it as an image with Adobe PhotoShop. The struggles I had with this project was that the catalog I have for the degree programs doesn't display the required general studies classes. For example, it doesn't say what English, Math, Science, etc. classes are required for my particular degree. Also, I plan to transfer to another school in Florida in the fall, so I had to map out the hours as if I were completing the degree program at MSCD.

The final image gives me a visual idea of where I'm at with completing my degree. I can see that I am about halfway there, and feel I can have my Bachelor's degree in no time at all.
